oh yhea, we have a team blog!

It’s only been 11 months since my last post. It’s cool, right?........ *sigh* fml.

Well no news has been good news in this case as we have slowly made progress on the car. But now that the season is upon us once more it is item to up the pace. Currently we have the cars wiring out again but we have it thinned down more than ever. We’re just piecing back together the gauge cluster, and once that is done all we need is the cage. Thankfully I have been able to put aside money for this task and plan to take measurements later tonight to get one built to spec.
Now if we could just find more drivers….

well shit.

just as we have good news to share as our car is finally up and running around (under its own power!). fate has thrown a sucker punch. we are without rollcage and unfortunately that mean were sol for the Stafford race. well it will give us more time to trim up some loose ends and prepare hopefully (if we can get accepted) for the lamest day in October.

20090603 update

not too much accomplished on the racing front last weekend. got the other rear rotors turned (nice and shiny now) and got eh rear calipers facing the correct way up. most of the weekend was spent working on the mighty rocco getting it new springs.

bloodletting the evils out of our car.

learned some interesting things fixing up the brakes this weekend. like the calipers on our car are comprised of 2 brackets that slide along each other and that the rear rotors from a 944 will not actually fit correctly onto a 924.
